Dudley Thompson took some time out from helping at events today to compete at Horseheath on his 17h mare Ceilidh III, or Mary as she is known at home (Dudley had another horse at home called Joseph at the time he acquired her, making them a holy pair).
It was a good day for Dudley and Mary, winning the Horse Requisites BE90 Section K on their dressage score of 26, quite a few penalties ahead of second placed Kelsey Love on Castle House Gem (33.5) and third placed Harry Horton on Alvescot Wannabe (34.8)
Celebrating the win with Dudley was Tina Ure, not only the breeder of Ceilidh III but also the course designer for the brand new cross country track at Horseheath; we spoke to both Dudley and Tina today about their winning horse and the new cross country track that has also proved a bit of a winner with the riders

Tina Ure not only designs cross country courses but breeds winners that ride them!
