Team GB had a golden week at the 2022 FEI European Eventing Championships for both Junior and Young Rider teams
But in the Individual competitions, it was France's Zazie Gardeau and Germany's Mathies Ruder who took gold medals in the Young Rider and Junior Championships
Lying fourth after dressage, Zazie riding Cesar De Commarin LA moved up a place with just 2.8 time penalties on the cross country and had a couple of lucky moments in the show jumping to clinch the Young Rider Championship by just 0.3 penalties
Germany's Mathies Ruder, son of German Olympic rider Kai Ruder, and Bon Ton led from pillar to post to win the Junior Championship
