Dom Schramm and Bolytair B
Australia has only two riders in the mix at the 2019 Land Rover Kentucky Horse Trials; Hazel Shannon, who has come all the way from Australia and US-based Dom Schramm
While it is Hazel's first foray overseas, she has two CCI5* wins in Adelaide to her name; Dom on the other hand is very familiar in his American surroundings but is competing at his first CCI5*
Samantha Clark caught up with Dom and the owner of the stunning 13 year old Bolytair B, Janet Giesselman
"A horse like this could be career or life altering" says Dom "So to have them give me this opportunity .... I just can't tell them how grateful I am"
Dom and Bolytair B hit the dressage arena in Kentucky on Friday morning and we hope their top form continues in that massive arena!
