Camden Equine Centre Sydney Eventing Spring Classic Preview

Camden Equine Centre Sydney Eventing Spring Classic cross country videos

We may have been forced to miss the Sydney Eventing Autumn Classic in March due to a (as it turned out, very slow) tropical cyclone hampering our travel plans but we will be at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre with bells on this weekend!

Taking place on 6th & 7th September at the iconic Sydney 2000 Olympic venue, the Camden Equine Centre Sydney Eventing Spring Classic hosts national level classes from EvA65 to CCN4*. It may not be an International-level event, but it is one of the most popular on the NSW eventing calendar and this year is no exception with more than 500 competitors across the classes.

Emma Mason and KPH Kingfisher, winners of the CCN4* here in March, are back in the top class, the Camden Equine Centre CCN4*,  which has 18 starters including Hazel Shannon with her quadruple 5* winner Willingapark Clifford and the 10-year-old Willingapark Chelsea, Andrew Barnett with Equestriad CCI4* winner Oscar Park Deluge and Quirindi CCI4* winner Chasing Great plus Olympian Shenae Lowings riding Bold Venture, so lots of great action coming up!

The EvA80 and EvA65 are split in three sections – Open, Junior and Freshman – so there is something for everyone and all EvA65 competition phases will take place on Saturday. The EvA95 also head out on cross country on Saturday while the CCN4*, 3* and 2* sections show jump on Saturday afternoon before a big day of cross country on what looks being a dry and sunny Sunday at SIEC!
