Christine Bates and Bloomfield Findon lead the way in the CCN4*-S at Equestriad at Camden CCN Horse Trials after Saturday’s dressage.
The pair sit on a score of 28.7, just a smidge ahead of last year’s CCI4* winner here, Andrew Barnett riding Oscar Park Deluge on 29.5 but then the two top riders have a few penalties in hand over the rest of the field, with Sam Fasher riding Angelina Gold in third place on 35.5.
Christine also holds third place after dressage riding Statford Matilda in the CCN3*-S, behind Hannah Rockwell riding Hermes Des Brandieres and Emma Bishop riding Bobby Dazzler while Carlene Barton tops the CCN2*-S on Henrik APH, keeping Shane Rose riding Diva Royale and Blair Richardson riding VH Victor at bay in second and third places.
Emma Mason riding Cidor leads the CCN1* Division A and Tara Seppelt, fresh from an EvA95 win at Albury CCN Horse Trials, leads the 1* Division B on board TAE Caspia, with both sections having completed dressage and showjumping.
Cool and sunny autumn conditions prevailed despite forecast occasional showers, making it the perfect weather for the EvA80 and EvA95 competitors who also headed out on cross country today.
