Equestriad at Camden CCI Horse Trials 2025 XC Videos
More than 500 horse and rider combinations will be descending on (and ascending the hills of!) Bicentennial Park in Camden, NSW this weekend for the Equestriad at Camden CCI Horse Trials on May 17th & 18th
Not surprisingly, coming so hard on the heels of Australia’s biggest competition at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival, the number of competitors in the CCI4*-S is down with just five combinations, including Shane Rose re-routing Holy Moses from Adelaide after a problem on cross country and the recent CCN4* winner at Quirindi, Andrew Barnett riding Oscar Park Deluge. Andy Daines riding Hat Trick, fourth here in the CCI4*-S last November, Deon Stokes on Fantastik Mr Fox at the chestnut thoroughbred’s first CCI4* start and Sam Fasher riding Angelina Gold make up the five CCI4* competitors.
There is also a CCN4* class running with cross country course designer Stuart Tinney riding Viennese, Shane Rose entered on Easy Turn before heading to Germany (but probably not running all cross country as he told us at Adelaide), Sam Woods on SS Eight Count and Olivia Shore on Dreamcatcher.
But the other FEI classes at CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S certainly make up the numbers and are to be hotly contested. One competitor who may be suffering jet-lag is Samantha Cesnik, having just flown in after Badminton, to ride Giovanni Georgio in the CCI3* and another clash of the Cooleys is coming up in the CCI2*-S with two fabulous horses, Niki Rose’s Cooley All Over and Lamoza Velisha’s Call Me Cooley going head-to-head once again.
The FEI classes are also complemented by national level classes, catering for all levels from EvA65 to CCN1* at one of Australia’s most popular events and we’ll be there filming all horses and riders on cross country.
