Beth Wilson and her 11-year-old chestnut gelding Alto et Audax (Toy) have topped the 2019-2020 New Zealand Young Rider series finishing on 161 points, an outstanding 61 points ahead of second placed combination Alena Dorotich and Donner XS.
Beth and Toy had a strong season earning series points at eight events, including a win in the CCI4*-S at Puhinui in March and Beth also became part of the New Zealand Talent Development squad in January 2020
In 2016, while they were competing in the CCI1* Junior at Puhinui International, Beth told us more about Toy, who she thought ‘would hopefully go to 3* (now 4*)’. Indeed, and maybe he will go further!
Beth, who was working with Angela Lloyd after returning to New Zealand from the UK, also told us about her time overseas working with Tim and Jonelle Price and Jock Paget
