While January is usually a month of no change on the FEI Eventing Rankings, the introduction of new categories in the Young Rider, Under 25 and Junior World Rankings mean that there is some shuffling done at the start of the year.
Whilst there are no competitions in January to affect the rankings, the start of the new year mean that some athletes become ineligible to rank in certain categories. And so, while the FEI Eventing World Rankings for Seniors remains the same as at the end of 2025, we have new leaders in all three of the new categories.
FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings
The USA’s Cosby Green topped the leaderboard at the of 2025 but is no longer eligible for this category, as she turns 26 in 2026.
Germany’s Calvin Bockmann, who finished fourth individually at the FEI European Senior Championships at Blenheim Palace in 2025, now leads the way with 276 points, ahead of Australia’s Oliver Barrett in second place (204 points) and Britain’s Alice Casburn in third place (197 points), with all three moving up one spot.

FEI Eventing Young Rider World Rankings
Australia’s Oliver Barrett and France’s Verane Nicaud, number one and two on the December 2025 rankings, both turn 22 this year and therefore have been taken off the leaderboard with last year’s third place getter, Britain’s Elizabeth Barratt moving into the top spot with 133 points. It is tight at the top however with Ireland’s Momo Sheehy in second (131 points) and Britain’s Jasmine Underwood in third (129 points).

Ireland’s Ben Connors, who turns 19 in 2026, is in fifth place of the Young Rider Rankings but has lost the top spot of the Junior Rankings held at the end of last year.
Britain’s Ella Howard, the 2025 FEI European Junior Champion, now leads the Junior Rankings with 98 points ahead of France’s Matis Cogniet (82 points) and Germany’s Pia Sophie Schreiber (72 points)
