Britain’s Harry Meade heads into the New Year on top of the world. Harry finally claimed the FEI Eventing World Number One title after many years in the sport at the end of May 2025 and held the top spot throughout the year, finishing the season with 588 points ahead of the USA’s Boyd Martin (537) and Britain’s Laura Collett in third (469).
His great success throughout the year included six top six finishes at CCI5* level, including third place and fourth place at the Defender Burghley Horse Trials on Crystal Cavalier and Annaghmore Valoner.
Tim Price is the top ranked New Zealand rider in fourth place, joined in the top 10 by Samantha Lissington in seventh place, the two separated by Britain’s Ros Canter (5th) and Tom McEwen (6th).
Belgium’s Lara De Liedekerke-Meier (8th), Michael Jung (9th) and Cosby Green round out the top 10, with Cosby also holding the top spot on the Under 25 World Ranking.
New Zealand also has Jonelle Price (16th), Monica Spencer (19th) and Caroline Powell (34th) in the top 50.
Shane Rose is the top ranked Australian rider in 30th, Kevin McNab starts the year in 43rd place and Oliver Barrett is in 48th place of the Seniors Rankings as well as holding the top spot in the FEI Eventing Young Rider Ranking and third place on the Under 25 Rankings.
