Walk the Pan Am cross country course

Clayton Fredericks and the Canadian team are ready for action at the Toronto Pan Am Games 2015

Take a walk around the course with team members Colleen Loach, defending Pan Am champion Jessica Phoenix, Waylon Roberts and Kathryn Robinson who will be riding this CCI2* cross-country course, designed by Australian course designer Wayne Copping, at the Pan Am Cross-Country Centre at Will O’Wind Farm in Mono

“The goal always is to win gold, so that’s what I’m hoping to see,” said Canadian Eventing Team chef d’equipe Clayton, a two-time Olympian (2008 and 2012) for Australia. “We’ve got a very interesting team. Being the nation here that is already qualified for the Olympic Games, in some ways, gave us a little bit of breathing space to choose a team that will allow us to not only win a gold medal, but also bed some fresh riders and fresh horses in for our preparation for the Olympics.

“I’m expecting that they all perform to their best and give it their all. That’s all a coach can ask for.”
