An Eventful Life filmed all competitors on cross country at
Childeric Saddles Little Downham (2) 2022
Little Downham (2) was a whirlwind of activity on the weekend – literally
Not only did hundreds of competitors enjoy more warm weather eventing in Cambridgeshire but a freak mini-tornado hit the venue, lasting only a brief moment but taking down show jumps as it passed through. It also ripped the awning off the Tigga’s Trade Stand taking stock across the fields and off down the road, so local residents may awake to equestrian apparel strewn across their gardens!
Full marks to Andrew James who was doing his dressage at the time and managed to stay on a long rein walk in the arena!
The excitement wrapped up the second day of competition at Little Downham (2) where Imogen Murray riding Shannondale Vintage won the Open Novice, Trudy Johnson riding Catch Me If You Can won the Novice Masters and Gillian Mason took the CCI1*-S on board Trinity O’Really
