The fourth and final 2021 Science Supplements sponsored British Eventing Area Festival takes place at Warwick Hall this weekend (23-25 July), giving competitors a last chance at BE90 and BE100 level to qualify for the Grassroots Championships at Badminton in 2022.

Organisers Douglas and Lucinda Weymouth will provide two championship tracks running to 3000m with some 30 jumping efforts being included.  A few new combination fences are also being incorporated for Friday’s dedicated day for the Area Festival.

With some Covid restrictions and BE protocols easing, the organising team are looking forward to welcoming as many friends, family, and supporters of competitors to this Cumbrian venue to enjoy the spectacle.

The EHOA (Event Horse Owners Association) has made available a prize for the BE 90, BE 90 Open and BE 100 and BE100 Open Championship classes, to be awarded to the highest place horse owned and/or ridden by a member of the EHOA.

Commenting on the outlook for the event Douglas said Preparations have gone well in this glorious weather, and we’re delighted to help our northern riders gain places at next year’s Badminton final, and of course to crown our northern area champions too’.
