The Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) is once again running the Plum Rowland Award in 2025. Presented to the rider under 21 years of age who gains the greatest number of points in the Open Intermediate U21 classes during the season, the 2024 Award went to Isabelle Cook after a very successful year.
The first fixture on the 2025 calendar took place at Tweseldown (1) Horse Trials where Clementine Crosswaite Erye riding Lyjador took the top spot in the OI U21. Clementine dropped one rail in the showjumping but had a very good run on cross country, finishing on a total score of 38 to just edge of ahead of second placed Jemima Howden riding Van Kaunitz (38.7) and Anna Price riding Blakeney Surprise in third (40.2).
These three riders now top the League with two further events taking place this month that will count for points at Barbury and the Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Park.
