While Heidi Coy riding Halenza had to settle for second in the Open Intermediate Section J at the 2026 Oasby (1) Horse Trials on Wednesday, she went one better on Thursday, riding MGH Jessica to take the win in the OI Section P.
Tim Price started strongly in the dressage, scoring 24.8 on board Vitali but then opted for a slower cross country to take second place (34.8) while Heidi blitzed around with just 0.4 time penalties to take the win on a score of 30.
Andrew Hoy and Gulliver des Lones finished in seventh place in the OI and Australia also had a couple of winners on a breezy Thursday at Oasby, with Sammi Birch taking the Novice Section T with MBF Quidams Touch while Catherine Burrell riding Pablo won the BE100 Section M.
