Solihull (1) Horse Trials 2025 cross country videos
We’ll be having our first visit to the Solihull Riding Club this weekend for Solihull (1) Horse Trials on 24th & 25th May where BEDE Events is running British eventing classes at BE80, 90 & 100 plus Novice classes along with some GO BE sections.
We’re delighted to see that Vittoria Panizzon will be back in the saddle in the Open Novice class, riding Borough Tuppence and Chatter On. The eight-year-old Borough Tuppence is of course out of Vittoria’s great mare Borough Pennyz and we can’t wait to see if she will turn out to be like her mum! And while Vittoria isn’t riding DHI Jackpot here, Emily King is bringing her Jackpot and they should be ones to watch in this class, following on from second place in the Advanced last weekend at Belsay International (1).
New Zealand’s Clarke Johnstone took third place on Rocket Man at Belsay but here he will be riding Domasco in the Open Novice, Ceralda in the Novice plus Lt. Holst Mackintosh and Indigo Blue in the BE100.
There are plenty of opportunities to pick up points across the BEDE Agria 100 and Eco Voltz Leagues this weekend plus prizes for Highest Placed RoR and Amateur Rider. The BE90 Section A also has an extra incentive thanks to the Event Horse Owners Association. This section is specifically for Owner Riders and offers £400 prize money on top of the normal BE prize money for 1st-6th, with the prize winner receiving £200 plus BE prize money and we’ll also add in a free cross country video for the winner!
