60-year-old Olympian and dairy farmer Matthew Grayling has made the journey to the USA from New Zealand to 'have a crack' at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.
But first he was at the Conceal Grand-Prix Eventing Showcase at Bruce's Field in Aiken, where Samantha Clark caught up for a chat.

Finn Healy on Treamble at Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Park International 2023
We’re counting down to the first CCI British Eventing competition at Thoresby Park from March 28th – 31st with a look back at CCI3*-S winner Finn Healy riding Treamble.
Finn and the 17hh mare Treamble, owned by Amy Hawley, started in equal third place after dressage and added just 7.2 penalties on cross country to take the win at their first 3* together on a score of 34.9.
Entries are open for the Adelaide Equestrian Festival 2024, which will host the only CCI5* eventing competition in the Southern Hemisphere, a CCI4*-S and CCI3*-L & Young Rider Championship

Last year Oliver Townend and the very talented young horse Finley Du Loir, owned by Caunton Stud and Sir John Peace, were winners of the British Eventing Intermediate class atCirencester Park (1) Horse Trials 2023, finishing on their impressive dressage score of 21.6.
This year Cirencester Park (1) will be held from 22nd – 24th March 2024 and we'll see you there!
