Tamborine Equestrian Group CCN 2025 Preview

Tamborine CCN Eventing 2025 Cross Country Videos

The Tamborine Equestrian Group in Queensland once again had to cancel its first eventing competition of the year thanks to a small thing called a tropical cyclone bearing down (albeit very slowly) just before their March event. Luckily the forecast is much kinder this weekend for the Tamborine CCN One Day Event in Queensland on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th July, where we are filming all horses and riders on cross country.

The competition run by the Tamborine Equestrian Group at Kelecyn, the family home of Australian Olympian Kevin McNab, will host national CCN eventing competitions at 1*, 2*, 3* and 4* levels plus national EvA classes from EvQ65 to EvA95. Another of Queensland’s well-known eventing riders, Andrew Cooper, regularly attends this event with great success but, having just returned from a very productive first overseas trip where he finished on the podium at Luhmuhlen CCI4* and competed as part of the Australian team at Aachen CCIO4*, he’ll be sitting this one out.

The CCN* classes are a little light on with just one competitor in both the Cavaleria CCN4*-S (Amilia Schooley riding Sandhills Stella) and TBV Equestrian CCN3*-S (Ashlee Lowe riding Jackpot Jimmy) and five in the National Luxury Homes CCN2*-S. But the Story Bridge Hotel CCN1*-S is well subscribed as are the All Horses Veterinary & West Vets EvA95, the Pinewood Products EvA80 and the Aitkens Saddlery & Aussie Blue Heeler EvQ65.

Luke Harmer, who has several rides across the classes, kicks off the CCN* classes dressage action on Saturday morning and the star classes also all showjump on Saturday with cross country for all classes on Sunday
