Shashank Kataria won the CCI3*-S on board Icaro B at Quirindi earlier this year and he backed that up by winning the Bundella Station CCI3*-L on HB Zara during the long format competition (28th - 30th August 2026). Shashank and the black mare HB Zara did it in style, finishing on their dressage score of 32.5, having led from start to finish.
Catie Herbert and CH Colette also finished on their dressage score of 36.8 for the runner-up spot while Chris Height riding Lucky Contender took third place (41.2).
Hannah Lewindon riding James Fandango also led from the start of the Boonoona Design CCI2*-L, taking the win of score of 32.1 but it was a very close thing with Jess Somerfield riding APH New Sensation just 0.2 penalties behind on 32.3. The top two in this class were separated from third placed Ella McCrum riding Thunder God by over 10 penalties but all three combinations jumped double clear around Saturday’s cross country.
