Eventing carries on in Australia and New Zealand

We may be coming to the end of the season but, with restrictions easing all around Australia and borders opening up, eventing riders are hitting the tracks again

Last weekend Tamworth International Eventing at AELEC in northern NSW ran classes at National level from EvA45 to CCN4*, with the 4* and 2* won by the in-form Emma Mason on board Aramatai Fox and Hebrides while Andrew Barnett riding Go Tosca took the CCN3* – more to come from this event soon

Across the Tasman in New Zealand, one of our favourite course builders, Chris Lever who we interviewed earlier in the year at Tonimbuk Horse Trials, had been hard at work creating a lovely course at Eventing Wairarapa Horse Trials at Clareville, including a Model T Ford jump

Blyth Tait was the course designer for the upper level cross country tracks for the event run on 21st and 22nd November where Monica Oakley riding Artist, winners of the CCI3* at Puhinui International last year, won the CCN3* and Vicky Browne-Cole the CCN2* riding Corona Xtreme.
