Yes, we know that the above footage isn’t from Quirindi but it is from NSW!
After lockdowns in Victoria and NSW for several months, eventing is finally back on the agenda and Quirindi Eventing One Day Event in Northern NSW is the first venue out of the blocks. The event is running National level 1* to 4* competitions and from EvA45 to EvA90 for the lower level competitors so everyone will get their chance for a hit out this weekend
If the weather is willing, that is. It seems ironic that the rain that has made the countryside around Quirindi so green, and hopefully providing good going on the cross country, may cause some problems during the weekend with storms forecast and deluges of rain (100% chance of rain, of up to 50ml with a chance of thunderstorm – sounds like fun)
So, fingers crossed, we will get some cross country in on Sunday and our cameras will withstand whatever mother nature throws at them. We’ll keep you updated!
