Eridge winners are grinners

Not a winner but Tina Cook and Handsome Ransom looking good in the BE100

Congratulations to all section winners at the SsangYong Eridge Horse Trials in Kent last weekend but particularly the winners of our cross country video classes

Melissa Joannides was on a roll winning not only two BE100 Sections but also taking the Intermediate Section on Skip To The Beat, adding just four time faults to her dressage score to win on 36.3, over five penalties ahead of second placed Camilla Stewart-Wood. In the BE100 Sections it was a second win this season for both the 10 year old mare Hay Josephine in the Section F and Melissa also won the BE100 Section O with the 15.1h Uncle Desmond, who also won at Chilham Castle earlier in the year

Young Anna Martin is also on a roll, winning her second event in a row with Sannanvalley Classic who took out the BE100 Section P. This is another lovely 10 year old mare and the pair just ate up the cross country in great style to win on their dressage score of 26

Harriet Colderick and Watergate Boy have had three wins in 2017 and two of them have earned them cross country videos! They took the Novice Section J at Eridge, having won at Chilham Castle and the South of England earlier this year. They had another good competition at Eridge, winning on 34.6 and adding just 1.6 time faults from the cross country to their dressage score

Victoria Whiteman and Pennys Pebbles finally took their first win together in the BE90 Section B and it meant a lot to Victoria as Pennys Pebbles is now 18 years old. You certainly wouldn’t know it when you watch their cross country round

"It honestly means the world to me as this was my first ever BE win (and to be honest quite possibly my last) and it was on my 18 year old hunting mare who is only really eventing this season because my main eventing pony is injured. Pebbles is 18 so may well not do another season BE, so to have this video as a memory of our success together is priceless. It will certainly also be a useful coaching too as there were a few rider errors along the way..." says Victoria modestly
