The last day of full of eventing on the 2020 British Eventing calendar took place at Oasby (2) in Lincolnshire on Monday 26th October

The event, which this year also featured the British Eventing 5-Year-Old Championship on the Sunday, had added an extra day to finish a tumultuous season. As always, the BEDE team rose to the challenge and, despite heavy rain in the lead-up to the competition, all three days went ahead as planned giving competitors their last fix of cross country before winter closes in

Four classes of BE90 and five of BE100 took to the saddle on Monday with Sophie Trotter riding Montenagro II winning the BE100 Open Section T and she was joined in the winners’ circle by Alex Hill riding Ardbear Ray, Caroline Dyer on Curraghgraigue Quebec, Imogen Murray riding Jeu Carla-H  and Sara Bowe riding Cavalier Clooney

Experienced competitor Ruth Edge won the BE90 Section S, adding just 0.8 time penalties on cross country to fabulous dressage score of 21, riding Ballyhale Black Magic

Phoebe Lyle riding Odie Kingsborough, Georgina Holland riding Ruthstown Millfall Boy and Kitty Hamilton riding Heregana took the other BE90 sections
