Emily King may have been the big winner at Solihull (1) Horse Trials last year claiming the Open Novice and a BE100 Section, but this event is very much focussed on the lower levels with classes from BE80 to Open Novice. And it is a popular one, with both days of the event (30th & 31st May 2026) full to bursting with waitlists.
That bodes well for those chasing points for the EcoVoltz Amateur League being run across specific BEDE events this year, including Solihull (1) this weekend and Solihull (2) in late August. The League, which runs across the levels offering plenty of opportunities to pick up points throughout the season, requires riders to register in advance and the season winner will receive an Eco Voltz Electric Bike sponsorship package for the 2027 season, including the use of an Eventer Bike for the 2027 season, complete with full maintenance and service support package.
There are also special prizes for Highest Placed ROR, Highest Placed Amateur, Highest Placed EHOA member and don’t forget to use your BEDE Loyalty Card (attend five BEDE Events in the 2026/2027 season and get your sixth Start Fee Free - Cards from 2025 season can still be used).
