Bishop Burton International Horse Trials cross country videos
The focus on the rising stars of the sport is increasing with the recent announcements of a new FEI World Youth Eventing Rankings and FEI Eventing World Championship U25. And this week the 2025 Bishop Burton International Horse Trials, incorporating the British Championships for Junior Riders CCI2*-L and the BE100 Under 18 Championship that gets underway (24th – 27th July 2025).
Sadly, the CCI2*-L Young Rider Championship has been cancelled due to lack of entries but the BE100 U21 (run as long format at 105cm) is ready to roll. This year there are also additional British Eventing Official National Classes running all phases on Sunday 27th July at BE90, BE90 Open, BE100, BE100 Open, Novice and Open Novice sections levels.
For the long format competitors taking part in the CCI2*-L Junior, BE100 U18 and BE100 Open U21 however there are several days of competition with dressage on Thursday/Friday, cross country on Saturday and showjumping on Sunday. The Championship feel is heightened by the First Horse Inspection taking place on Wednesday followed by the Opening Ceremony for the event and a Piggy March demo is taking place on Thursday evening.
