Eight nations with teams and one country with individual riders will contest the eventing competition at the Pan American Games at the Escuela de Equitación Regimiento Granaderos in Quillota, Chile in Santiago, Chile from 26th – 29th October 2023.
As at the FEI Olympic Regional Qualifier at Millstreet in June where Australia and China claimed the two team berths on offer for Paris 2024, the Pan Ams will give the top two countries, not already qualified, from FEI Olympic Groups D and/or E an Olympic team spot each.
While the USA claimed their spot for Tokyo 2020 at the 2018 Pan Am Games, they have already qualified for Paris 2024 and therefore the two hot contenders for the Olympic spots are Brazil and Canada who, along with the USA, have already named their teams as:
