The Novice classes at Shelford Manor (2) Horse Trials in August provided points for those riders eligible and registered for the hotly contested Arena Saddles Novice League, which this year culminates in the Final at Osberton International (2) in October.
Vicky Hind riding Blueford Galaxy holds the top spot on the Arena Saddles Novice League after Shelford, finishing in seventh place in the Novice Section C and adding an extra six points to maintain her lead on 25 points ahead of Amy Martin riding Peppershake Z, who took fifth place in the Novice Section C, now on 22 points.

Piggy March and Cooley Goodwood win CCI3*-L at Blair Castle International
Piggy March will have fond memories of the last ever eventing competition at Blair Castle International Horse Trials, as the winner and third place getter in the CCI3*-L and runner-up in the CCI4*-S.
