Elouise North and MIH Defender won the Novice Section B at Swalcliffe Park (2) on her dressage score but it was a close thing, finishing on the same score as second placed Gemma Gurvidi. “I was really jealous when Sammi Birch and Laura Collett were competing my horses in the spring" says Ginny Thomasen "But I was lucky to be back out eventing four weeks’ after giving birth and have found that the 'new me' is just as excited but doesn’t dwell on the bad results as much and finds even more joy in the successes as it is much harder to get there with a five-month old baby.”
